     Graduates/undergraduates on WINGS: appointments start November 16, 2020

     New Spring 2021 first year students: December 11, 2020
     Special/Non-degree students: December 21, 2020

Textbook Rental Opens: January 11, 2021

Registration cancellation deadline - January 8, 2021

Students will be dropped from their Spring courses prior to the start of the semester if Fall charges are not paid in full by January 8, 2021. This includes any fees/charges added at the end of the term by Textbook Rental, the Health Center, Parking Services, etc.

Students may apply for a Bridge Loan to cover charges owed until financial aid or other financing is available. Bridge Loans are available up to $250. Please contact the Financial Aid Office, 215 Graff Main Hall, for more information.

After the add/drop without permission periods end, you need permission to add or drop a course. Permission to add or drop can be given electronically in WINGS. Instructors or departments can give the permission to add. Instructors or advisors can give the permission to drop. After permission is given, you must finish the add or drop process by logging back into WINGS and adding or dropping the course. Please note that the deadline to add with permission is not the same as the deadline to drop with permission.

If done on paper, blank add/drop forms can be picked up from the Records and Registration Office at 117 Graff Main Hall. Completed forms must be returned to that office.

Drop dates on this calendar MAY NOT MATCH the tuition refund dates. See the Cashier's Office for information regarding payment and refund deadlines.

Tuition Refund Dates for Summer

Refund dates are set up separately from the academic drop deadlines and may not be the same. Review both dates when deciding whether to drop.

The refund dates for summer depend on each class's specific start and end dates. See Cashier's office for complete tuition refund schedules and more information on tuition refunds and billing.

Last day to withdraw from UWL: Prorated by class dates for anything shorter than the full term. Withdrawal from full term summer is July 26, 2021.

    Last day for 100% refund: January 7, 2022

    Last day for 25% refund: January 14, 2022
